1. What is your favorite part of the Chicago Yarn Crawl?
This is my first year participating, so I don't know yet! I'm looking forward to seeing new customers and being part of the Crawl.
2. How long have you been in business and how did you get started?
We're a brand new baby yarn store! We opened in November 2024 and it's been a wild ride so far. I moved to Andersonville in 2023 and was disappointed that there was no yarn store within walking distance, so I decided to open one myself.
3. What makes your shop unique?
It's probably the only yarn store in the country owned by a transgender woman who got her startup capital from winning Jeopardy games.
4. What is your favorite part of being an LYS owner?
I get to meet super creative people every day and hear about (or see) their projects. It's so much fun and I never know who's going to walk in the door.
